It is very easy to set up Yahoo mail in Outlook 365, just follow the instructions given here and you will be good to go.
But, first, you need to change a few settings in Yahoo mail to allow it to connect to Outlook. Here are the steps:
Use Less Secure Apps Option
· Open a browser and then go to the Yahoo mail sign-in page and login with your credentials.
· Now, navigate to the upper right-hand corner of the page, select the Account Info option from the dropdown menu.
· Now, go to the Account Security option from the left panel and then toggle the switch next to allow apps that use a less secure sign-in option.
Now, you can proceed with the setup of Yahoo mail in Outlook.
· Open the Outlook 365 app on your device and then click on the File tab from the top left corner.
· Now, when the dialog window opens, navigate to the Email tab and click on the Add button located at the top.
· Then, you need to choose the ‘manual setup or additional server types’ option and then click on the Next button.
· Select the Account type as POP3 and start entering the server settings. Go to the official Yahoo website for POP3 Mail Server Settings.
· Enter the incoming mail server settings and outgoing mail server settings and then click on the Next button to proceed.
· Now, click on the Finish button and wait for the outlook to test and review the settings.
Syncing Yahoo mail data with Outlook will start after the successful configuration of the email.
